Participation Requirements

Participants will be required to complete and submit two polished pieces:

​1) A theatre review 

​2) A feature/interview/commentary

A. Participants may choose to do two theatre reviews, as long as they are written for different media sources: i.e., standard major/metropolitan newspaper, website, blog, etc.

B. First piece* due 9 a.m. Friday, for feedback Friday afternoon ITJA session

Second piece due 2 a.m. Saturday, for feedback Saturday morning ITJA session

C. Participants may then choose to revise one or both of their pieces by 11 p.m. Saturday for feedback Sunday morning ITJA session

-Feedback on each piece will be provided by at least two of the three workshop leaders

-Pieces will be uploaded to ITJA website: itjacritics.com

-Three invited productions will be available to participants on Thursday; one will be available on Friday. Productions may be viewed after premiere, via function in Virtual Lobby.

-Reviews should be limited to 1000 words; broadcast reviews limited to 600 words.

*Features/interviews/commentaries must be submitted by 9 a.m. Friday for Friday afternoon’s ITJA session.
